You could feel it in the air that the momentum is shifting, and it was a privilege to be part of it.

Chips North delivered exactly what Canada's semiconductor community needs: direct, senior-level conversations across industry and government, with real substance behind them. The networking was great and there's real momentum for Canada expanding its thriving semiconductor ecosystem.

My takeaway from CHIPS North, and reinforced further through the meetings I had in Ottawa is that Canada has a real opportunity to carve out strategic leadership in specific parts of the semiconductor value chain. The winners will be those who understand where they can be globally competitive and invest with focus, which is why having strong supply chain intelligence and market visibility is so important.
